Terms and Conditions

  • Transports are booked on a first come, first served basis, per availability of flight companion and taking into account various rules and regulations of each pet-friendly flight carrier. 

  • Buddies On Board will book the flight. Confirmed travel only, no standby flights. 

  • No refunds once flight is booked. If booking allows for flight to be rescheduled, every attempt will be made to reschedule at a mutually agreed upon date and time. 

  • Airport to Airport and Ground to Airport services available.

  • Sanitized airline approved soft-sided carrier, potty pads, fresh water, and chew or snuggle toy provided. 

  • Shipper will provide a small portion of dry food for the pet. Baggie must be labeled with pet's name and feeding instructions. 

  • All pets must be a minimum of 8 weeks of age to be transported. Airlines have varied age requirements so shipper must certify age at time of booking. 

  • Pet must be under 20 pounds and able to fit in an 18" x 12" x 12" soft-sided carrier. 

  • No refund if pet is refused at check-in for not meeting airline size requirements for travel in airline-approved carrier. 

  • A valid health certificate issued by a veterinarian prior to scheduled delivery date must accompany pet if required by flight carrier. 

  • A current rabies vaccine certificate must accompany pets over 16 weeks of age. 

  • No refund will be given for failure to provide veterinary documentation.

  • Buddies On Board will make every effort to adhere to travel dates. However, unforeseen circumstances such as weather, mechanical issues, oversold flights, etc. may interfere with travel. Shipper assumes all risks in transporting by air. 

  • Any extra charges incurred if animal is unable to travel or not met upon delivery will fall upon shipper who ordered transport services.​

  • Buddies On Board is not responsible for pet with existing health issues, known or unknown. 

  • Buddies On Board reserves the right to refuse service to any pet showing signs of illness or aggression.

  • Communication is vital for a successful experience. All parties must have access to a cellphone with text messaging services for continual contact and ability to send & receive real-time updates.

  • 48 hours prior to transport, flight companion will contact shipper to discuss flight details and confirm meet-up location; either flight carrier TSA security checkpoint or baggage claim.
